As a Solutions Consultant, you will utilize your professional experience in AR-related fields to advise prospects, analyze and solve complex issues, and guide Partner resellers and direct customers on alternate courses of action within an opportunity. Your ability to talk to people at all levels in a prospect’s organization and project strong credibility and expertise in conversations will enable success in this role. Leveraging an ability to discuss business and technical process issues in detail, and to be an expert on how those types of issues relate to each other, you will enable our Partners to close new business as well as support the technical demonstrations for current prospects and customers. You will build a strong, working relationship with Partner resellers and prospects.

  • Assist partner resellers, prospects, and customers in the qualification and needs analysis of prospect opportunities
  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the entire
    Billtrust AR solution suite – including business drivers, evolving business needs,
    security, process challenges, etc.
  • Create and prepare configured demonstrations that surprise and delight our prospects
  • Work with the Partner/Channel sales teams and Partner Resellers to create
    presentations that both excite and inform during customer meetings
  • Effectively respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and project proposals and
    highlight the advantages of our solution to our customers
  • Staying current on product developments/releases to a level required for
    demonstration, solution fit and scoping
  • Provide input and influence to product development for future enhancements
  • Set prospect expectations early in the process and manage the project scope and create
    the Statement of Work to handover to our Professional Services teams
  • Supporting Marketing events with Resellers – trade shows, webinars etc.
  • Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between our
    company and our competitors
  • Conduct AR Optimization workshops to work with prospects to identify key issues, and
    align offerings to support and remedy problems in the AR process
  • Work with Sales Training and Education teams to support reseller sales enablement and
    training

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 4+ years of experience in Credit/Collections or Accounts Receivables role with a proven detailed understanding of the day-to-day challenges of the invoice-to-cash process, or 3+ years of presales or consulting experience in SaaS based financial technology or similar field.
  • Ability to communicate and demonstrate the value of complex Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based solutions
  • Ability to gather requirements and work with development teams
  • Ability to utilize deep technical knowledge of the invoice-to-cash process to build credibility and showcase product strengths
  • Proven ability to use advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and align solutions to business problems
  • An organized, self-starter who can work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to maximize performance and meet deadlines
  • Mastery of the Sales process and trusted advisor for Partner Reseller representatives
  • A high degree of passion, energy, drive and willingness to travel (approximately 25% travel)
  • Continual focus on education, both in seeking greater depth of currently supported solutions, and expanding support for additional Billtrust solutions

The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $135,000 annually.
