SheerID are seeking a talented and experienced Solutions Consultant (pre-sales) to join our team. As a Solutions Consultant, you will engage directly with prospective clients to understand their unique challenges and goals, and design tailored solutions that meet their business and technical requirements. You’ll work in partnership with our sales team and play a key role in guiding prospects through technical discussions, demonstrations, and workshops, to ensure we design the most appropriate solutions for their specific use cases. You will work closely with internal cross-functional teams when needed to set our customers up for success from the outset. Role Specific Job Duties:

    • Sales Partnership: Partner with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles with C-level executives.
    • Client Engagement:Drive the discovery process, helping to uncover your customer’s business objectives and current pains. Work consultatively with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives, helping them identify the best solutions. Lead technical conversations with customers around SheerID’s offering.
    •  Workshops & Technical Assessments: Lead interactive and collaborative workshops with clients to identify the best solution for their requirements, ensuring business and technical alignment throughout.
    • Technical Collaboration: Engage with client technical teams to understand their requirements, strengths, and limitations, ensuring seamless solution design. Provide the necessary technical support, solution recommendations, and confidence in the technical fit of our products. Bring in the SheerID ‘subject matter experts’ as needed to address specific customer requests.
    • Product Demos: Present tailored product demos to various audiences, customizing presentations to different technical and business stakeholders as needed.
    • Solution Design: Create tailored customer journey flows, technical solutions diagrams, documents, and Executive Proposals that clearly illustrate the value and functionality of our products for each specific prospect.
    • Solution Scope: Responsible for creating Statements of Work outlining the agreed solution for each customer.
    • Security & Architecture Support: Act as initial point of contact to address client concerns regarding SheerID’s architecture and security, helping to build trust and confidence in our solutions. Bring in SMEs as needed for in-depth or specific concerns and conversations.
    • Trust Building: Become the trusted partner for our customers across both technical and business teams.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Professional Services, Customer Success and other client delivery teams to ensure a smooth sales process and handover post-sales.

Required Skills / Experience:

    • 4+ years of Solution Consulting / Pre-Sales experience in a SaaS organization.
    • 4+ years of experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating the ability to engage with clients, understand their technical needs, and offer tailored solutions.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for delivering compelling, creative presentations and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • A track record of successfully overcoming technical and security objections by taking a consulting approach to customer conversations.
    • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Proficient in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
    • Align with and promote SheerID’s values.
    • Experience growing within a small start-up environment is a plus.
    • This is a remote role and experience working remotely is a plus.
