As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for operationalizing the go-to-market functions necessary to archive pilot success across several customer alpha, beta and early access engagements. You will provide guidance to team members in ways that promote the company’s vision and objectives. You will also work directly with senior leadership to develop operational metrics to measure program success. You will have a leading role in organizing, executing and delivering pilot programs for our most strategic innovation initiatives.

As an individual contributor and program manager on product launch program(s), you will provide program leadership and execution and ensure program objectives are defined and achieved leveraging our go-to-market framework and strategy.

You will adhere to and continuously refine the program framework, develop relevant processes and documentation, collaborate with internal teams and customers, validate program results, and ensure lessons learned and best practices are properly communicated and incorporated into the methodology.

The ideal candidate has excellent time management and project management skills and is able to face stakeholders with strong presentation and communication skills.  They are process oriented and can adapt to change when new challenges arise.  They have had to navigate complexities of the past, relying on both relationships and process to achieve business outcomes becoming the “go-to” person for program management best practices.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Manage individual product launches across multiple teams including product management, product marketing, product education, operations, account management and marketing teams with minimal supervision.
  • Assist leadership in organizing and running Steering Committees
  • Partner with internal teams on our product data usage to measure success of pilot programs.
  • Effectively manages program conflicts, builds collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and facilitates commitment and decision making.
  • Implements effective communication plans and operating rhythms, helping teams to develop metrics that drive continuous improvement, including provision of regular and accurate reports.
  • Monitors costs, timescales and resources used, and takes action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensures that deliverables are implemented within these criteria.
  • Works with product managers and project managers to share best practices, create a support network, and cultivate a learning environment.

You might be a good fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 5+ years program management experience with prior roles in project management or related software development roles.
  • Excellent personal interaction and presentation skills (ability to tailor messages and present to different audiences and bring the message across in a concise, professional manner)
  • Experience managing multiple parallel projects in a software development and/or project management environment where the customer is an internal stakeholder team.
  • Experience with a product planning and go-to-market framework
  • Experience scoping and estimating project efforts
  • Demonstration of use and understanding of project control KPIs
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong flair for technology and technology solutions
  • Plus: Experience with Salesforce and Google Apps, JIRA, Confluence and Pendo
  • Plus: Experience with Product Planning Tools, preferably Aha!
  • Plus: PgMP or PMP certification
  • Plus: Product management or product marketing certifications

 

The base salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 with a 10% Bonus. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
