As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll serve as the champion of our people and culture. Day in and day out, you’ll collaborate closely with our Tech teams, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent. Your passion lies in exploring innovative recruitment avenues, engaging with passive talent, and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
Working hand-in-hand with team leads, managers, and directors you’ll play a pivotal role in building our exceptional Tech team as we continue to grow. Tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each team, you’ll build strong partnerships across tech and ensure a seamless and consistent experience for candidates across the board. You may be required to support other areas of the business function such as marketing, customer, finance, HR, legal and product as and when required.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada or the US.

What we’re looking for:

    • 2-3+ years of demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on engineering and technical talent.
    • Experience with in-house recruitment at a rapidly growing software or technology organization.
    • Experience sourcing using a variety of tools and platforms.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building trusted relationships with hiring managers, business leaders, hiring stakeholders, and candidates.
    • Solution oriented with the proven ability to identify potential issues, navigate challenges in the recruitment process, and provide creative solutions
    • Resilience. You can effectively manage change, and adapt to support work and projects.
    • Self-starter mentality with the ability to make informed decisions and drive tasks independently.
    • You are able to partner with your hiring managers  and advise in best practices, and at times have challenging conversations.
    • A people first approach to your interactions and communications with peers, leadership, as well as internal partners and external candidates.
    • You are data driven. You understand the importance of sharing data and reflecting on it to drive recruitment strategies, pivot when required, and educate your hiring partners
    • Results oriented. You demonstrate high performance and love challenging yourself and your team to deliver.
    • Proficient with ATS software and other recruitment systems & tools. Preferred: Lever, Prelude, LinkedIn Recruiter, Zoom, Slack

What you can expect:

    • Your focus will be hiring for our tech teams Tech teams across IC levels including Data, Security, Engineering, IT, and TPM.
    • Own end-to-end recruitment. You will lead strategic intake meetings, collaboratively identifying key candidate criteria and maintaining a consistent pipeline of strong candidates to ensure timely placements.
    • Work with hiring managers and stakeholder groups to construct and execute on a robust and unbiased interview process that aligns with our business goals and values.
    • Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications, values alignment , and potential for success within 1Password now or in the future.
    • You will own the process from initial intake to closing a candidate. You are comfortable with each aspect of the recruitment cycle and effectively manage negotiations.
    • Foster a positive candidate experience through the recruitment process by ensuring timely feedback, communication, and coordination of interviews.
    • Build a trusted advisor relationship with hiring managers, providing guidance during the recruitment process.
    • Collaborate and partner across the broader talent acquisition team to deliver on projects.
    • Leverage data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and measure effectiveness of recruitment strategies. Proactively share and use insights to pivot strategies, identify opportunities for improvements, and educate hiring partners.

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $87,000 USD and $117,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
