As a Strategic Finance Associate at Jasper, you’ll partner with teams across the company to support key financial decisions and help shape our long-term strategy. In this role, you’ll help build and maintain financial models, evaluate strategic investments, and support cross-functional teams in aligning with our financial goals and core company KPIs.
This fully remote role reports directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental United States.
What you will do at Jasper
- Partner with executives, functional leaders, and cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions and contribute to Jasper’s long-term growth.
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate strategic investments and guide ROI-focused decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of key drivers impacting our financial performance, and integrate insights into updated forecasts.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to set top-line, budget, and headcount targets; support monthly reporting to track performance against plan.
- Prepare clear, data-driven materials for executive meetings and board discussions.
What you will bring to Jasper
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking or management consulting with a strong analytical focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including the ability to build models from scratch, simplify complex problems, and support scenario planning and investment decisions.
- Sharp analytical instincts with a passion for digging into data and generating actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset. You ask great questions, seek context, and are eager to learn.
- Proficient in SQL.
Compensation Range
At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $105,000 – $125,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
