As Senior Marketing Manager for Professional Learning, you will help to grow Instructure’s business in the corporate, government and not for profit sectors.
The perfect candidate will have a multi-faceted marketing background and solid experience in field marketing and demand generation.
You will plan, run and report on campaigns and events that create meaningful engagements for our customers and prospective customers.
You will report to the VP of Professional Learning & Higher Education Marketing and work on a scrappy team that includes another Senior Marketing Manager who runs campaigns & content. You’ll work hand-in-hand with many internal stakeholders across Instructure, including other marketing departments, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Development, Finance, Operations, Community and more!
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with vision.
Responsibilities:
- Build the Professional Learning business through meaningful marketing:
- Support the Professional Learning business with excellent marketing campaigns and field experiences that translate into quality pipeline generation and progression
- Partner closely with the other Senior Marketing Manager who supports ProLearn to design, run and report on impactful multi-faceted campaigns.
- Bring vision, strategy and ideas
- Manage and adhere to budget
- Generate sufficient quality pipeline for the sales team
- Lead our field strategy. Including:
- Owned events of various sizes and modalities (in person and virtual/webinars)
- Attended events / sponsorships
- Supporting the ProLearn presence at our largest customer event, InstructureCon
- Research, negotiate and secure sponsorships and venues for specific events assigned including hotels, vendors and other resources for the event project
- Responsible for:
- Overall project plan
- Event briefs
- Contracts
- Internal event comms
- Execute event plan including on-site support (travel required)
- Maintain and order event support materials
- Operational excellence in salesforce
- Post event meetings & continuous improvements
Here’s what you’ll need to know/have:
- A generalist marketing background, including deep experience in field/ events/ webinars
- Experience in public sector/ government/ B2B marketing preferred
- A command of the funnel including
- Partnering with sales development and sales
- Funnel dynamics
- Pipeline coverage
- Lead generation
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to manage budget and invoicing processes
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Salesforce and project management software like Asana.
