The DoorDash People Technology team is looking for a Solutions Architect, Workday Security with demonstrated experience and knowledge in Workday Security and Reporting. As a Solutions Architect, Workday Security you will interact directly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across DoorDash to capture requirements while designing lasting solutions with People Technology. This role will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable security architectures for our People organization. This position requires a great understanding of HR data processes, security, and compliance standards, globally.
This role will report to the Director of HR Technology.

- Develop and implement comprehensive data architectures for HR systems (Workday), including data models, dictionaries, and data lineage solutions.
- Develop robust security model and governance in partnership with process owners to establish and enforce data security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive HR data.
- Design and configure security towards maximizing efficiency and improving processes
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Lead design, development, and implementation of new Workday Security functionality including managing internal Workday Security team and their Workday development, prioritizing efforts to deliver and oversee quality
- Provides guidance and subject matter expertise on security, data and reporting capabilities and limitations.
- Create a 18 month security roadmap and data classification modeling.
- Workday Security subject matter expert solving complex problems, while keeping data secure.
- Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Support system troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and deployment of assigned applications to meet requirements, timelines, and execution standards.
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 5-7 years of work experience in HRIS implementation/configuration, both domestic and international.
- Extensive experience cross delivering on one or more of the following Workday HCM modules: Core HCM, Payroll, Time & Labor, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management
- Experience as a lead consultant on Workday HCM projects a plus
- Current certification in Workday HCM a plus
- You are a self-motivated and rapid learner

- You have a BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields, or equivalent work experience
- You have an analytical mindset and a “People First” mentality with demonstrated ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems using data and creating configuration solutions based on that data
- You have strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
