As a Sr. Data Analyst, your primary focus will be supporting stakeholders in the Finance and Operations teams by surfacing key insights to guide strategic decisions. Through dashboards, custom reports, and deep-dive analyses, you’ll illuminate critical trends and uncover opportunities to enhance business performance. Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in enabling data-driven decision making across the entire organization by managing and optimizing our BI platform, Looker.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the Finance and Operations teams to design, develop and maintain the key dashboards, reports, and data models they need to manage the business.
- Define and develop the metrics we use to measure our business. Have strong opinions on the right way to measure performance and use them to guide the engineering team in building the right telemetry.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses that extend far beyond surface-level insights to uncover deeper trends and opportunities, and concisely communicate those results to non-technical audiences.
- Take the lead in managing and optimizing Looker, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, simplify the data model, and ultimately drive increased user adoption.
- Take ownership of the entire data modeling lifecycle–from design and requirements gathering, to development in dbt and Looker, deployment, and ongoing maintenance–collaborating closely with data and analytics engineers to iteratively improve and extend our data models.
