Placer.ai is looking for a talented sales development professional who will be responsible for getting prospects excited to take a demo of our software. You will be responsible for prospecting via phone, email and social media. Your primary goal is to qualify all prospects and ensure account executives have a clear understanding of their needs in order to convert leads into clients. Sales Development Representatives are a valuable and critical part of our organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts from lead-generation activities, such as outbound cold-calling and emailing into targeted accounts.
- Engage with prospects via phone by making a minimum of 500 calls per week.
- Generate qualified meetings from both inbound and outbound channels, as well as before and after events.
- Work with partnered Account Executive(s) on account mapping and prospecting exercises on a set Book of Business (account list). Collaborate to determine appropriate action items.
- Help manage the sales team’s meeting calendar before events.
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Placer’s platform, industry trends, and data.
- Finding relevant insights and data to share with prospects that showcase the true value of Placer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ideal candidates will have a high desire to build a career in Sales.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high-level interactions with internal and external contacts.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesloft/Outreach.
- Exceptional ability to organize work and tasks; attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
- Demonstrate a passion for learning new things and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of SaaS and marketing technology industry, or of the Retail, Real-Estate, or Marketing Analytics market is desirable.

The U.S. annualized pay range for this position is $50k – $55K. This role is eligible to receive sales-based commission for annualized on-target-earnings of $85 – $100K.
