The newly formed AI Growth Enablement team sits at the intersection of Product, Data Science, and Engineering. Our charter is to unlock step-function growth in users, subscribers, and revenue by building shared AI/ML capabilities — including but not limited to experimentation and automation tools, generative AI models, predictive-model APIs, and self-serve tooling—that accelerate decision-making, experimentation and automation across multiple product teams. You’ll partner closely with other PMs in the Growth organization, as well as with the Data Science and Data Analysis teams, to turn data and models into delightful, effective experiences at scale, and to empower each team to leverage AI/ML in the most effective way to drive user and revenue growth.
About the Job
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager II with deep AI/ML experience to define and execute Life360’s strategy for data-driven growth. You will:
- Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of internal AI/ML platforms, tools, and growth accelerators
- Lead a cross-functional group of data scientists, ML ops engineers, and cloud engineers
- Drive adoption of AI capabilities that lift acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Align senior leadership and cross-organizational stakeholders on impact, investment and sequencing.
The US-based salary range for this position is $172,500 to $253,500. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic leadership: Set a product vision for AI-powered growth and translate it into measurable outcomes, KPIs, and roadmaps.
- Platform ownership: Deliver and scale self-serve model-hosting, feature-store and experimentation infrastructure that shortens time-to-insight for every product team
- Growth experimentation: Partner with Product and Analytics to design automated targeting, pricing, and lifecycle models aimed at optimizing LTV for every user
- Cross-team enablement: Package reusable APIs, SDKs and dashboards that enable non-ML teams to ship smarter features without ML expertise.
- Data-informed decision-making: Define success metrics, run opportunity sizing, and champion a test-and-learn culture grounded in rigorous analysis.
- People management: Hire, coach and inspire a multidisciplinary team; foster a culture of craft, ownership, and high-impact delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10+ years of product management with 5+ years building data/AI platforms or ML-driven growth products at consumer scale
- Demonstrated success in turning ML research into shipped capabilities that move key business metrics.
- Fluency in modern ML stacks (Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, feature stores, real-time inference, A/B frameworks) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Hands-on background in data science, ML engineering or analytics OR extensive track record partnering with such teams.
- Proven ability to influence at the exec level, balance short-term wins with long-term bets, and thrive amid ambiguity.
