We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Brand Activation Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of brand activations and partnerships that drive consumer engagement and brand awareness for our performance (sports & fitness) category. This role will focus on developing integrated brand activations, managing strategic partnerships and executing events that align with our brand’s objectives, creating immersive consumer experiences that resonate with committed athletes. The Brand Activation Manager will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and the seamless execution of brand activation strategies. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the performance consumer.

Key Responsibilities

    • Strategic Brand Activations:
    • Develop creative, integrated brand activation strategies that connect with our target sports and fitness audiences, and engage customers in a way that drives awareness, loyalty, and sales.
    • Lead the integration of Therabody into social-led platforms and clubs that foster a strong, engaged community through ambassador-led initiatives, challenges, product education, events and more.
    • Plan and execute both in-person and digital/hybrid activations, ensuring the brand maximizes reach through various platforms and touchpoints.
    • Ensure consistency of creative and messaging across all activations and align efforts with the overall brand strategy.
    • Partnership Management:
    • Develop and manage key brand partnerships to co-create activations that reach our target audiences and deliver measurable ROI.
    • Act as the main point of contact for partnership initiatives, fostering relationships, negotiating contracts, managing deliverables and ensuring alignment with brand goals.
    • Lead co-marketing and event sponsorship efforts, focusing on driving consumer engagement and product awareness with our target audiences.
    • Event Management:
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute brand activations at consumer events, with a focus on delivering exceptional on-site experiences that drive product trials and education.
    • Oversee the logistics, staffing, and on-site activation execution, ensuring a premium experience that meets brand standards.
    • Work with event venues, vendors, and agencies to ensure flawless execution of brand events.
    • Manage the budget, timeline, and performance metrics for each event, providing post-event reports and analysis.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with internal teams including various marketing channels, digital, sales, education and science to integrate activations into larger marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
    • Partner with creative teams to brief, design and produce high-quality branded assets for activations and events.
    • Measurement & Reporting:
    • Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of all brand activations, ensuring KPIs are met.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for future activations based on data and performance analysis.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to continuously optimize activation strategies.

The Right Person Would Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in brand activation, integrated marketing, event management, or partnership marketing, preferably in the consumer goods or lifestyle industries.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing brand partnerships and executing high-impact events.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing external partners and vendors.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique brand activation ideas that resonate with the target audience.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on activation performance.
    • Willingness to travel for events and activations as required.
$80,000 – $90,000 a year
