We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic projects within the credit card space, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will manage projects of moderate to high complexity, provide leadership to cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives from concept to execution. You will collaborate with executives, stakeholders, and business units, fostering strong communication and teamwork. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and change management skills. You will have the opportunity to influence outcomes, mentor team members, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while supporting medium to long-term project horizons.
Accountabilities:
Plan, manage, and deliver credit card-related projects through all phases, from initiation to closure.
Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to project teams, including Business Analysts, SMEs, and Technology Resources.
Partner with business and executive stakeholders to align projects with enterprise strategies and priorities.
Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Facilitate decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation across multiple Lines of Business (LoBs).
Lead change management efforts and guide teams through complex organizational changes.
Promote a positive team environment, attracting and developing top talent, and fostering collaboration.
Undergraduate degree; Project Management Certification required.
10+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably within financial services or credit cards.
Proven ability to manage moderately high to high complexity projects with executive-level sponsorship.
Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and team development capabilities.
Experience in financial management for project budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and lead multiple projects concurrently.
Competitive base salary: $110,760 $178,880 USD.
