We are looking for a creative, technical, strategic, and analytical marketing professional to join the team as an Email Marketing Associate. Our current marketing team consists of 13 creative marketers specializing in growth, demand gen, email, design, and conversion rate optimization, including a dedicated content marketing resource who will support product marketing. In this role, you will work closely with the marketing, product, casting, engineering, and content teams. You will be tasked with seasonal and one-off campaign orchestration, planning, and email marketing campaigns aimed at driving growth across our talent marketplaces (Backstage, Mandy, and StarNow). The role will require you to use analytics to measure and optimize the execution of customer growth.
The Email Marketing Associate will report to Backstage’s Growth Lead.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive users through the funnel with lead nurturing, content marketing, and drip email campaigns.
- Project manage annual campaign calendar, planning, ticketing, and execution to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
- Daily execution of curated email campaigns.
- Optimize and launch drip and daily campaigns, test new creative, messaging, and audiences to increase conversion of customers.
- Implement and maintain analytics dashboards across a range of initiatives.
- Leverage behavioral cohorting to create effective subscription, activation and engagement campaigns.
- Create A/B testing campaigns, testing creatives, audiences, landing pages, and product marketing.
- Work with design team to develop new email creatives and landing pages based on sound insight from prior performance and testing
What we’re looking for from you:
- 1+ year(s) of experience executing email marketing campaigns
- Strong data analytics capabilities (prefer Excel and/or Google Sheets proficiency)
- Strong marketing copywriting skills, presentation skills, and an eye for good, actionable design
- Highly organized, thinks and works fast, can execute complex tasks with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated history as a proactive problem solver
- Experience using Google Analytics, Amplitude, Looker, or analogous platforms
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Marketo, Klayvio or similar solutions
- Passionate about growth marketing with a desire to learn and develop your career
- Analytical mindset, you’re excited about testing, data, and metrics and solving unstructured problems
- Flexible and possess to ability to innovate, adapt, and learn
- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and have strong presentation skills
- Experience with Google Tag Manager
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and Javascript a plus!
