The Supply Chain team at Lume works with both external contract manufacturers and cross functional partners (Fulfillment, R&D, Marketing, Analytics teams + more) to develop production plans, optimize inventory and ensure high customer fulfillment rates. Additionally, the team is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, including product development, supplier relationships and inbound freight to our fulfillment centers. This role will lead cross functional plans for the supply chain function to support the innovation roadmap, expand the Lume supplier base, and lead sustaining operations projects.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with R&D teams to support product portfolio expansion (NPIs)
- Proven ability to manage the entire supply chain through the product development cycle from idea to launch
- Partner with project managers on timeline creation and execution
- Own cost structure around product costs and gross margin
- Lead commercialization of new products (qualification, launch POs, etc.)
- Anticipate and escalate innovation project risks
- Facilitate Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) request process for innovations when required
- Continually hold the cross functional team to account for delivery of risk mitigation plan through regular project meetings, ensuring risks are minimized
- Drive sustaining operations roadmaps to drive efficiencies across Lume product
- Lead tech transfer (supplier transition) initiatives in partnership with our product development team
- RFQ new suppliers and negotiate commercial contracts/terms for new and existing categories
- Bring and own cost optimization projects to the pipeline that drive long term product life cycle sustainability
- Partnering with Supply Chain team members to drive sourcing strategy across categories
- Develop and implement new supplier qualification process
- Support operational analysis and scenario planning, to support commercial growth roadmaps.
- Analyze and operational impact of potential new launches
- Collaborate across Supply Chain team to support annual budgeting process and drive cost analysis

Relevant Experience
- 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably CPG, including hands-on experience in a project management role
