Vendr is a fast-moving startup building a modern SaaS marketplace aimed at completely transforming the way that SaaS is bought and sold. As the Staff Product Designer on the Seller Experience team, you are squarely focused on onboarding, activating, and retaining Sellers by providing them with the capabilities, data, and intelligence they need to view Vendr as a critical partner in an effective sales motion. You are an expert in interaction design but also have an eye for visual design, with a desire to deliver truly delightful and effective experiences for users.

Responsibilities
- Product design: Create elegant, intuitive, and delightful experiences that result in clear, measurable impact on the business. Design information architecture diagrams, wireframes, flows, service diagrams, high-fidelity mock-ups, and prototypes for your features.
- Conversion rate optimization: Collaborate with with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to maximize conversion rates across the entire experience.
- Research: Initiate and conduct light-weight research projects to help evaluate product designs, build foundational knowledge, understand JTBD, and define user journeys.
- Design systems: Defend and champion our design guidelines, evolve best practices and standards, and help drive Vendr’s design system forward at a tactical level.
- Design critiques: Contribute to a process where Product Designers across pods can share current projects in a way that brings visibility and invites stakeholder feedback.
- Process adherence: Ensure that you are well-integrated into the established design process, following our standards with a high attention to detail.
- Customer obsession: Directly participate in customer and prospect calls to keep a pulse on sentiment, and to help identify and prioritize opportunities. Watch FullStory obsessively.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience as an individual contributor on an in-house product design team, as well as 5 years working in a multi-sided marketplace.
- Portfolio: A portfolio with web projects that highlight your approach to problem solving, as well as the design solutions themselves. Case studies should demonstrate your skills in research, user experience, visual design, and interaction design.
- Figma Mastery: You live and breathe Figma, where you’ve mastered the essential elements of both design and interactive prototyping. You have an affinity for micro-interactions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and storytelling skills, in writing and in speaking
- Teamwork: Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Research to craft and execute broader product and design strategies.
- Design systems: Experience building design systems collaboratively from the ground up

The estimated base salary range for this position is $126,000 to $153,000.
