Skillsoft is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Coaching Sales Lead to drive our North America-wide coaching sales efforts. This individual will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Skillsoft’s coaching offerings, driving growth, innovation, and alignment across the organization. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for coaching, skilled in consultative selling, and experienced in navigating complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for coaching across North America, ensuring alignment with Skillsoft’s broader sales and product goals.
  • Partner with regional sales teams to identify, qualify, and close coaching opportunities. Provide coaching-specific sales training, tools, and support to reps.
  • Act as the internal and external SME for Skillsoft’s coaching solutions. Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of coaching opportunities. Drive strategic account planning and execution to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their coaching needs, present tailored solutions, and deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to refine offerings, develop messaging, and ensure successful delivery of coaching programs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in learning, talent development, or coaching solutions with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving strategic growth
  • Deep understanding of coaching methodologies, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree or coaching certification a plus
  • Experience in MEDDPICC
