The Postman Events team is looking for a Sr. Event Content Manager who will take end-to-end ownership of content strategy and execution for Postman’s proprietary, internal, and industry events. This role requires a highly experienced professional (8-10 years) with a robust background in event content programming, exceptional organizational skills, and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will excel at curating compelling content, managing speaker relationships, and delivering cohesive event narratives that align with our company’s strategic objectives and brand values. You will lead content development for our proprietary events while also supporting content integration at industry tradeshows. We are looking for someone who is team-centric to join our small, but mighty crew, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the work, but also has the confidence and acumen to nail executive-level engagements.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish content objectives, KPIs, and success metrics in collaboration with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive content strategies for proprietary events that showcase Postman’s thought leadership and technical expertise, for all session formats, including keynotes, breakout sessions, lightning talks, panels, and workshops
  • Oversee all phases of content planning and execution, including agenda management, end to end Call for Speakers processes, session programming, and presentation quality control
  • Create and manage detailed content calendars, production timelines, and content budgets, ensuring all deliverables are on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Developer Relations) to identify compelling topics and speakers that resonate with target audiences
  • Source, recruit, and manage relationships with internal and external speakers, ensuring diverse perspectives and high-quality presentations
  • Lead content review processes and speaker preparation to ensure polished, valuable sessions
  • Supervise all content-related activities during events to ensure smooth execution and immediate resolution of any content issues
  • Conduct comprehensive post-event content evaluation to assess session effectiveness, speaker performance, and audience engagement
  • Repurpose event content for marketing campaigns, digital channels, and future events to maximize ROI

About You

  • Expertise in technology event content development, curation, and management
  • Strong understanding of API development, developer tools, or similar technical domains
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and ability to identify compelling narratives and speakers
  • Experience managing high-profile speakers and developing executive-level content
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple content workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to engage and influence diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in content management systems and event technology platforms
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving and decision-making

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $135,000 to $165,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
