Play a leadership role on the data science and analytics team.
Work directly with group product managers to initiate new projects, define roadmaps, and drive decisions.
Mentor and coach less experienced analysts on the team on analytical methods and soft skills.
Identify and uncover business questions and develop rational hypotheses around these questions.
Partner with direct managers in helping to strategize workflow and prioritization.
Support multiple, large product focus areas and act as a resource for less experienced analysts within assigned coverage.
Write research plans and explore data in clean and raw forms.
Utilize statistics to create clear visualizations and uncover insights.
Create compelling data stories and present them to technical and executive audiences. Support the product team through collaboration with product managers, product leaders, designers, and data and analytics engineers.
Define root cause analysis and forecast product metrics. Analyze products, customers, and business outcomes.
Uncover factors that drive process success through use of a growth toolkit, incorporating product activation, engagement, retention, and growth.
Support iterative cycles of build, measure, and learn. Design, interpret and support product experiments and A/B tests. Use strong communication skills (verbal and written) to educate partners on statistical validity including analytical models, machine learning, and experimentation results.
Build data pipelines and tables, define requirements for better data, improve data automation and analytics capabilities, and turn repetitive analyses into dashboards.
