As our Payment Operations Lead, you will be directly responsible for overseeing multiple payment management functions of Divvy’s portfolio. This role will be crucial in building processes, procedures, and policies related to payments, rent collection, dispossessory actions, and other core functions related to both Payment Operations and Property Management. This person’s success will be measured by their ability to make meaningful impacts on the team’s rent collection, delinquency metrics, and drive the adoption of new processes or tooling. You will be expected to execute daily task requirements and performance manage external local counsels, while simultaneously building out a scalable structure for managing our portfolio of homes.

To maintain fairness and keep starting total comp the same for anyone who comes into that position, individual pay is determined by role, level, and work location only. At the offer stage, we give candidates 3 different offers to choose from depending on how they want to favor cash vs equity. The US-based salary range for this position is $99,550 to $128,000 + equity + benefits. Please note: We have two different compensation tiers depending on your location. The range displayed reflects the Tier 2 minimum and Tier 1 maximum new hire salary across all US locations. Your Recruiter will discuss the relevant compensation range during your initial screening.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the department’s progress and compliance with dispossessory actions, municipal and property compliance, and leasing violations
- Oversee local counsel and vendors across nine major markets
- Iterate on payment policies that are synergistic yet encourage austerity, maximize revenue, and ensure equality of application
- Coordinate cross-functionally across the organization to create policies, procedures, SOPs and systemize processes
- Identify any inefficiencies and optimize technology including working with Product and Engineering to increase productivity
Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of property management, payment operations, or similar experience
- Prior experience overseeing projects and assets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Experienced at building strong working relationships and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to create a vision and translate it into detailed and prioritized plans
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Basic SQL and BI skills preferred
