As a Recruiting Coordination Manager at Vanta, you’ll lead a high performing team of Recruiting Coordinators and own key candidate experience programs, interviewer training, and coordination systems that power hiring at Vanta.

 

The Recruiting Coordination team ensures every candidate has a high quality, equitable, and efficient experience through the stages of our hiring process at Vanta. The growing team partners closely with recruiting and business stakeholders to streamline interviews, support hiring managers and interviewer readiness, and support candidate experience.

 

In this role, you’ll not only manage and develop the coordination team but also drive critical candidate experience and employee interview programs, all with the goal of scaling a high touch experience.

 

What you’ll do as a Recruiting Coordination Manager at Vanta:

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of 7 Recruiting Coordinators to own all interview scheduling and candidate touchpoints
  • Manage the ongoing development, performance, and hiring of the Recruiting Coordination team, fostering a strong team culture rooted in operational excellence and growth
  • Drive improvements in coordination tooling and workflows, identifying automation opportunities and collaborating with RecOps to scale scheduling
  • Act as a strategic partner to recruiting leadership, surfacing team trends, removing blockers, and championing candidate first practices across the funnel
  • Lead interviewer and hiring manager training and readiness, including owning training content, onboarding for new interviewers, and maintaining the engineering interviewer database
  • Own and analyze our candidate experience survey, surfacing trends and partnering with Recruiting Leadership to improve outcomes
  • Help manage some of our employer branding presence across platforms like Glassdoor

     

How to be successful in this role

  • 6+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent operations, or recruiting programs, including at least 3+ years of experience managing a team
  • Proven track record of leading coordination processes at scale and improving the candidate experience
  • Experience supporting or facilitating interviewer training programs, ideally experience with technical hiring teams as well
  • Expertise in using ATS platforms (experience with Ashby is a plus) and AI/automation tools
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to implement or improve recruiting tools, documentation, and team workflows
  • High ownership mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast paced environment
