As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders on all people-related matters while coaching and developing team to achieve business outcomes. You’ll be influential in shaping organizational design and strategy, leading talent management initiatives, and driving a culture of high performance, urgency and engagement. Your role will cover implementing talent strategy, supporting performance management through coaching and development, global HR project work, and provide subject matter expertise around HR policies and procedures. You’ll work collaboratively with the broader HR teams, to help drive the people to plan across all functions and regions of the organization.

What your impact will look like here:
- Leads strategic employee initiatives to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives within talent management, performance, compensation, training and culture initiatives.
- Build strong business relationships with internal stakeholders (VP+ level), acting as the main point of contact for all people-related matters in your business unit such as; supporting performance management, employee relations issues, conduct HR investigations, increase engagement, reduce turnover, talent planning and conduct terminations and exit interviews.
- Applies depth of HR knowledge and may guide new or other HRBP team members regarding policies or practices.
- Operates independently and identifies opportunities to apply solutions that will solve complex business problems.
- Lead and execute the change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communications within the business unit.
- Coach Managers on all aspects of people management such as employee development, disciplinary action, terminations, and employee engagement utilizing data and trends.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs across the company, helping to maximize usage, recommending impactful changes and helping create sustained solutions to employee challenges.
- Participates and leads special projects around global HR processes and initiates successful project management skills and tracking.
- Enable high-performing teams through the use of people data and metrics provided on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the internal Talent Acquisition team ensuring alignment between business requirements, culture and candidates for onboarding and internal mobility needs.
- Working in conjunction with the Learning & Development team, assisting in creating learning materials and conducting training programs as required.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements globally related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Participate in company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal reporting requirements, including any related to EEO, AAP, ADA, FMLA, DOL, Worker compensation, etc.
- Provide strong customer service to all stakeholders ensuring HR continually drives value throughout the business.
- Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in handling confidential information.
You’ll love this job if you have / can:
- 3-8 years of experience in an HRBP, HR professional, or equivalent; preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- 3-5 years specifically dealing with Employee Relations, HR investigations, and/or other highly confidential and sensitive employment situations
- Possess foundational knowledge of applicable state and federal regulatory requirements, principles and procedures in human resources; FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, HIPPA, CFRA, OFCCP, and more (or be good at Google-ing)
- Current HR certification is a plus, i.e. SPHR, SHRM-CP, CIPD etc., or a desire to attain one
- Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment with a flexible approach
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and discreetly with highly confidential information
- Sound judgement and commercial acumen
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the; strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong MS Office — able to prepare engagement presentations, strong analysis of data and written pieces
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time to assist in supporting all offices

- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company’s information security program.
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies.
