We are looking to hire our first member dedicated to B2B sales for our LLM-based search API and RAG offerings. As our Head of Sales, you will play a critical role prospecting API customer opportunities, garnering interest for our solutions, and securing customers to drive scalable B2B revenue for YOU.com. You will be a first point of contact, fostering strong business relationships and managing the entire sales cycle. Successful candidates will be creative, energetic, and strategic lead generators and closers with a passion for innovation and experience in:
- Developing enterprise customer/partner targets, securing interest, and nurturing relationships with relevant entities in API integrations and search engine/app distribution to grow You.com revenue and users for You.com’s properties.
- Managing enterprise sales and partnership cycles from initial contact and pitching to negotiation, deal closing, and post-agreement follow-up to maximize partner alignment.
- Utilizing market and competitor research to identify trends within our industry and leveraging this information to enact strategies and formulate proposals for viable partners/customers.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders like product, marketing, and legal teams to ensure agreements are aligned with our company objectives.
- Meeting and exceeding revenue and user acquisition goals set by the company, staying ahead of key performance indicators, and conducting team presentations.
- Tracking, reporting, and analyzing performance data to provide actionable insight.
- Ideal candidates will bring a personal network of potential customers/partners they can leverage.
- Experience in API sales, search engines, and AI/LLMs are strongly preferred, but all not necessarily required. We value team members who are quick to learn and think differently.
This position is eligible for commission in addition to base compensation and equity. Signing bonus can be considered.
