We’re looking for a Financial Controller who’ll report to the Chief Financial Officer. You’ll lead on Revolut’s evolving US accounting and reporting program, and own the relationship between the auditor and broker-dealer.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Coordinating the accounting and month-end closing process within the US broker dealer entity and its subsidiaries and branches, posting entries and running the MEC entirely
  • Leading US audit programs, in conjunction with group audit requirements
  • Leading technical accounting advice on new product development
  • Performing monthly reviews and interim quarterly testing with a FINRA accountant
  • Preparing consolidated GL accounts for US holding and its subsidiaries in ERP Oracle NetSuite in accordance with US GAAP, and establishing and running US GAAP adjustment ledger
  • Enhancing the balance sheet substantiation process in coordination with the group’s program and tools
  • Ensuring accurate and timely closing of the books for monthly and annual reporting
  • Preparing detailed financial reporting and analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts
  • Developing and monitoring a robust control environment, with a focus on driving bank readiness
  • Delivering process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process via automation and control
  • Managing the accounting policy, ensuring it’s up-to-date and latest changes in US GAAP and group policies are implemented
  • Contributing to and defining financial control processes and procedures

 

What you’ll need

 

  • 5–7 years of experience in finance and controlling functions
  • A CPA or CA qualification
  • Relevant financial services industry experience (outside of Big 4/professional services)
  • Impressive accounting knowledge with proven experience in US GAAP and consolidated financial reporting
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) reconciliations and SQL
  • A structural and logical approach to solving problems
  • Solid analytical skills and a hands-on, ‘get it done’ attitude
  • Great motivation and focus on delivery
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

 

Nice to have

 

  • Broker-dealer experience
  • Knowledge of Netsuite and Floqast
  • Experience in international financial services

 

Compensation range

 

  • US: $112,200 – $132,000 gross annually*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
