The HubSpot Customer Insights (CI) team is looking for a competitive analyst to join our quickly growing organization. In this role, you will report into Product Marketing, and work with a Customer Insights team comprised of market researchers and competitive and customer data analysts. You will lead the charge in building competitive assets that support sales, marketing, and leadership for our Service Hub product. This means you will build a solid foundational understanding of how HubSpot differentiates against our key competitors and produce iterative content that helps our sales succeed in the field. Further, the role entails deep collaboration with key internal stakeholders, working cross-functionally with brand, product, product marketing, strategy, sales, customer service, and sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis and research to support marketing, sales, and strategy initiatives
  • Monitor competitor activity and analyze their go-to-market strategies, product offerings, and positioning
  • Identify new market opportunities and understand key customer needs and trends
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of HubSpot’s products and differentiation in the market
  • Monitor industry trends and analyze their impact on HubSpot’s business
  • Create clear and concise battlecards that enable Sales to compete against competitors
  • Present your findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you should have:

  • Technology experience in Enterprise SaaS companies, technology consulting companies in a product management, solutions consultant, business analyst or enablement role
  • Experience in competitive intelligence or product marketing
  • Outstanding ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Experience in CRM, Customer Service or Customer Support SaaS is an added advantage

Cash compensation range: 88000-132000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
