Babylist is looking for a Client Partner to generate new business and create media relationships among endemic baby partners, and specifically among the CPG partner base. Reporting to the VP of Business Development and Partnerships, this role will focus on deeply understanding the Babylist value proposition and leverage it to both strengthen and create new business relationships.

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years in a media or advertising sales role building pipeline and closing revenue
  • You are a business development pro; capable of adapting your pitch based on the client’s needs, business opportunity, and market dynamics to maximize value to Babylist and partners.
  • You have the ability to identify where, who and how to pitch to extract maximum value for Babylist while delivering value to partners
  • You are an adept storyteller, able to craft compelling, beautiful narratives and proposals to communicate a vision, idea and tactical plan
  • You can, and have,  built partnerships from 0 – 1, with a successful 1 being a top 10 advertiser in category within 12 months
  • You are a driven team player who works towards achieving the company’s goals
  • Bonus points if you have experience with our tools and tech stack (i.e Boostr, Sigma, Media Radar, etc)

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing endemic partners, understanding their brand marketing and sales goals to activate overall investment with Babylist
  • Craft, prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to endemic brands to secure media investment and execute campaigns
  • Negotiate advertising deals with partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and incremental revenue growth for Babylist
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals specific to the endemic category
  • Spearhead Babylist’s efforts to increase our advertising solutions footprint among endemic brands
  • Collaborate with the operations and account management  teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of advertising campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts in Boostr

Babylist takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

The estimated pay range for this role is $79,250.00 – $118,740.00
