The Opportunity
As a Sr Business Value Consultant (BVC), you will play a critical customer-facing role that drives significant growth by engaging in our most important customer and prospect conversations. You will gain invaluable experience working with our pre-sales teams in consulting with customers to identify and quantify the ROI these organizations can generate by leveraging Observe.AI’s platform. You will be key to helping us accelerate our growth by developing an in-depth understanding of our products and working cross-functionally with our Sales (Strategic Sales Reps and Sales Engineers), Customer Success, and Marketing teams to deliver this advisory offering.

What you’ll do day to day:
- Serve as the primary business value expert, engaging with potential customers during pre-sales cycles to deliver compelling business case presentations on projected value
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls and ROI workshops with prospects to uncover key pain points, objectives, and potential areas for value creation
- Collaborate with sales teams to create customized, data-driven proposals that clearly articulate the unique value of our solution to prospective clients
- Perform data analysis and generate insights to support sales efforts, including trend identification, predictive modeling for customer behavior, and opportunity forecasting
- Design and develop customized, data-driven dashboards and reports as part of Proof of Value (POV) demonstrations for prospects, tailored to their specific KPIs and business objectives
- Conduct training sessions/workshops with prospects on best practices on reporting and insights within our platform
- Develop scalable reporting templates that can be quickly customized for different industries and use cases, accelerating the POV process
- Provide expert guidance on quantifying both tangible and intangible benefits of proposed solutions, helping customers build a robust business case for internal stakeholders
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required (engineering, business or analytics degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience required; experience in Business Value Consulting, Sales Operations, Consulting, or Big 4 Audit preferred
- Prior experience working with Strategic Accounts
- Well-rounded experience working on large-scale projects focusing on digital transformations and customer strategy (customer strategy, customer experience, omnichannel experience strategy, customer data strategy, sales strategy, customer experience transformation)
- Contact Center Analytics Experience is a PLUS
- High sales efficacy and ability to work well with customers/clients
- Ability to build Excel financial models and PowerPoint presentations geared for Executive and customer audiences
- Expertise in storytelling through data analysis
- Experience with reporting in BI tools preferred – ex. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI
- Expertise in running ad-hoc data analysis in python/excel

Salary Range
The base salary compensation range targeted for this full-time position is $100,000-$140,000 Range per annum. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and equity (in the form of options). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
