The Copywriter will join the Corporate Marketing team at Vanta, which owns all aspects of company communications, including internal and external comms, PR, AR, content, and organic social media. Reporting to the Lead Copywriter, the Copywriter will be at the forefront of shaping and implementing our voice and brand identity as we reinvent our digital ads and email channels, which are ripe with opportunities to drive revenue and brand recognition.
The day to day:
You’ll be focused on:
- Writing conversational, concise, confident, informative, and (sparingly) witty marketing copy
- Owning copy for digital ads and email
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners
- Following and helping to implement Vanta’s voice, tone, and style guides
- Proofreading and QAing your own work, and occasionally the work of others
The must-haves:
- 5+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Excellent creative writing (and thinking) ability
- Ability to balance witty, clever copy with clarity, readability, and accurate messaging
- Ability to think strategically
- Impeccable grammar, spellling, and punctuation. You should be borderline obsessive about proofreading (did you catch that misspelled word above?)
- Experience writing digital ads (including search) and email (including nurture)
- A high level of pride in your work…but a low level of ego about it
