The Director, Security Operations is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Security function by assessing, analyzing, and responding to Security events across the enterprise. Maintain and manage Incident Response and disaster recovery activities for the corporation and lines of business. Monitor and report on vulnerability statistics and patching compliance across all lines of business. Manage the day-to-day operational responsibilities for the information security function

Responsibilities:

    • Support the Information Security team in daily tasks which includes but is not limited to prioritizing and addressing security events and incidents, investigating & troubleshooting vulnerabilities, and ensuring assets are patched and protected.
    • Configure, design, & improve Security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint protection, etc)
    • Provide technical expertise and resources to the IT and Development teams.
    • Process security requests and interface with other business units to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
    • Methodically conduct system audits to verify compliance with adopted controls, processes, policies, and standards
    • Create concise and comprehensive reports related to security violations, including recommendations for addressing any identified control weaknesses
    • Be an advocate of security awareness, enjoy staying on top of cyber security trends and incorporate industry best practices into your daily work

Required Experience & Skills:

    • 3-5 + years of Security experience preferred.
    • Security certifications are a plus (Security +, GIAC certifications, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
    • Self-motivated with highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills
    • Previous Incident Response experience
    • Strong technical networking & information systems knowledge
    • Malware analysis, and threat hunting experience are highly desired
    • Easily translates complex technical events, configurations, and strategies to non-technical personnel
    • Must be able to manage a heavy workload in a complex, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
Base Salary
Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training. However, compensation in the following regions is expected to be as follows:
NYC: Compensation is expected to be between
$126,000 and $147,000
Colorado: Compensation is expected to be between
$118,000 and $138,000
Washington State: Compensation is expected to be between
$131,000 and $144,000
California: Compensation is expected to be between
$128,000 and $150,000
