About the Candidate

During the past 7 years, I believe that I have gone through a lot of adventures which have given me many life lessons and enormous amount of experience.

I came to Norway as a 15-year old boy from Iran, not being able to speak either Norwegian or English, facing a completely new culture, lifestyle and society. After 3 years I managed to fulfill my high school education and achieve my IB Diploma. Then I spent 1 year in a Folkehøgskole in a little town of Søgne, south of Norway, in order to fully learn the Norwegian language.

I then decided to go to BI Norwegian Business School in order to obtain my bachelor’s degree.

I have now achieved my bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) specialized in Finance, graduated in June 2020.

In terms of academics, I love working and dealing with numbers and therefore I really enjoy numerical subjects like mathematics and Statistics. I also enjoy finance related subjects such as Investment analysis, International Finance and Data analysis.

My other passion is communication and interaction-related jobs. I truly enjoy using my social skills to interact with new people, whether it would be customers, colleagues or anyone else.

I believe that I have excellent social and communicative skills. I am always open and willing to meet and get to know new people. Interacting in any shape of form with others has always been something that I appreciate and enjoy doing.

I see myself as a flexible person who is very quick at adapting to new environments with new people. I have exposed myself to totally new and foreign environments such as school, university, language courses, extracurricular and sporting activities many times in the last few years and I am proud to say that I have been successful at each of those challenges.

I also believe that I have really good leadership skills and in times where a group needs a leader, I have always stepped up as I’m not afraid of taking charge and leading the group.

Furthermore, teamwork and collaborating with others is something I like to do, and I believe that I bring positive energy, hard work, good mood and cooperativeness to wherever I would be working. I am someone who always enjoys helping others but also not afraid to ask for help when needed. That being said, I am also a person who can work independently.

I have a lot of motivation to start working in a full-time position in a professional job. I believe that I have what it takes to move to the next chapter of my life. I am ready to work hard, give my best to the company, learn from my colleagues and use my social and academic skills to start my career. I must say that I am really excited for what is coming ahead.

To sum things up, I have faced many challenges in the past, especially since moving to Norway, and I am proud of everything I have achieved in my life so far. I am now looking forward to the next chapter in my life and start my career by working in a full-time position.
