About the Candidate
Srs.
I am Felipe Borsoi da Silva, I have a degree in Civil Engineering from the Community University of Chapecó Region (2012) and an MBA in Civil Construction Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2014). I also have a Master English Course by CCAA (2012) and Deutsch Kurs since 2016 by Wizard in addition to a course in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD® and Eberick® software. I work as a Civil Engineer since 2012 working with budget, planning and execution of industrial, commercial and residential works. In addition, I execute structural, hydrosanitary, electrical, architectural and preventive projects according to the respective Brasilian Standards. I have solid engineering experience (1 and a half years as an intern and another 8 as a professional), as well as the execution of works of all magnitudes.
I participated for 2 years in AIESEC (the largest organization formed by young people from 18 to 30 years old in order to promote leadership and exchange). In this organization, I participated in several activities as a member (assisting teams in holding events promoted by AIESEC) and as a leader (managing a team that was responsible for selecting exchange students to come to Chapecó to participate in social projects). Participation in AIESEC increased my resilience for carrying out daily activities, disciplined me as a professional and made me have more respect for other people when it came to diverging opinions.
The essence of engineering is to solve problems, so it was at graduation and in companies that I worked. The time that an engineer spent in his office doing construction structure calculations was gone. Given the capacity that this professional has, it is possible to solve the problems of general management of companies, reducing costs and increasing control of activities.
I have always studied and worked, however, I have an intrinsic need to gain experience outside my home country and contribute more with my knowledge and learn from foreign practice. Working outside of Brazil will undoubtedly be my greatest differential in the professional curriculum. I want to have the opportunity to live with excellent professionals, who will be able to pass on a vast knowledge about engineering, as well as to have the opportunity to exchange experiences about my country of origin.
