For over 20 years, Soccer Stars has been the country’s premier youth educational soccer program. Dynamic coaches work with groups of children from ages 1-10 years old to develop skills and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. ROLE:
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and personable individual to assist our staffing and operations department to facilitate a successful year-round soccer program.
Schedule:
Availability must include Saturday and Sunday between 7:30am-9:30am and Weekday availability must include hours between 2:00pm-7:00pm (US Pacific Time)
Schedule to be determined by Regional Manager
Up to 20 hours per week starting out
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage Communication: Handle incoming emails, phone calls, and other communications related to staffing needs, inquiries, and schedule changes.
Handle Call Outs: Promptly respond to and manage coach call-outs, ensuring immediate and effective coverage for affected classes.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain schedules for coaching staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all locations and timely updates for any changes.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all coaches complete necessary location requirements, such as background checks, certifications, and site-specific protocols.
Database Management: Maintain accurate records of coach availability, assignments, and location requirements in the staffing system.
Coordination with Management: Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and adjust scheduling and staffing strategies as necessary.
Maintain Relationships: Foster positive relationships with coaches, addressing any concerns or needs they may have regarding their schedules or assignments.
Customer Service: Provide support by handling telephone inquiries and responding to customer emails.

Experience in Scheduling and Coordination (prefered): Proven experience in a scheduling or coordination role, preferably within a sports or educational environment.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple channels of communication effectively.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and address issues as they arise.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with coaches, management, and other staff members.
Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Customer Service Skills: Deliver clear and constructive customer service through effective communication via phone and email.
