Bounteous is seeking a Web Content Manager to join its team of talented professionals who provide web development and interactive marketing services to clients large and small.
This specialist needs to be an independent worker who is detail-oriented and highly organized.
A positive, customer service oriented, and problem-solving attitude is a must for this role that involves meeting the demands of ensure the highest quality production of web pages.

Role and Responsibilities

    • Knowledge of and experience working within a Content Management System including building out sitemaps, pages, templates, layout and content entry
    • Testing site/pages/content on various form factors, including desktop, mobile, and tablet
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work with clients and internal teams
    • Ability to self-direct in order to complete website build-outs with content while meeting deadlines
    • Be part of a larger team with a mission of delivering successful client websites
    • Knowing when to ask technical team to make code changes in order to make websites look and work as expected
    • Work with Project Managers to manage timelines, communicate project status, deliver projects on time, and implement according to specification
    • Understand and communicate project priorities, requirements, and goals clearly and consistently

Daily activities include:

    • Uploading/entering final versions of content into CMS
    • Review content assets to ensure quality and correctness prior to upload
    • Creating new pages leveraging existing layout templates
    • Creating new site structures using provided sitemaps
    • Formatting and testing content layout
    • Proof-reading finished pages
    • Ensuring site/pages display and work as expected on various devices
    • Working with clients to receive sign-off/approval on completed pages and site sections
    • Work closely with technical team and client to ensure site/pages look and function as expected
    • Maintain daily interaction to update clients or coworkers on project progress
    • Develop process efficiencies to assist our fast-paced team
    • Consistently meet department and client deadlines
    • Remain current in a quickly evolving industry
    • Carefully track and record billable time

Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 1-2 years of related experience
    • 1 year of experience working within a CMS
    • Agency experience (preferred)
    • Experience collaborating with both internal resources, external resources
    • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
    • Experience in business analysis or project management
