Alliance Partnership Management identifies and develops key account alliances and relationship programs to produce sales opportunities. We recruit, develop and manage strategic partner alliances and opportunity pipelines, ensuring account retention, growth and high levels of customer satisfaction. You can join our team as an Alliance Partner VP, helping identify and forge mutually beneficial partner relationships.

 

What you will do

  • Act as trusted advisor to multiple business partners on a wide range of product and project areas.
  • Nurture and maintain strong positive working relationships cross-functionally within Vonage and with partner account teams and senior-level, C-suite, executives.
  • Engage with Vonage and partner management to influence partner-related strategic planning by:
    • Relentlessly advocating for innovative solutions,
    • Developing practice / product / partner-specific strategies to ensure sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Develop and ensure maintenance of strategically-focused product road maps.
  • Drive incremental sales growth by aligning internal resources, motivating and mentoring sales teams and ensuring best-in-class experiences throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Manage and provide senior-level support for cross-functional product, client or market-specific projects to ensure effective execution on alliance / client deliverables.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and tenaciously evangelize Vonage / partner and product offerings through cooperative initiatives.
  • Seek opportunities to boost incremental sales and develop new sales pipelines.
  • Develop and deliver training / education for Sales, Product, Professional Services, Customer Support and other departments.
  • Perform metric-driven analysis of marketing relationships and effectiveness.
  • Lead overall economic analysis and budget planning for key products and projects.
  • Partner with product and finance to drive P&L management for assigned product and practice areas.
  • Lead development of partner enablement collateral.
  • Manage business and technical escalations and communicate with stakeholders to maintain momentum and ensure success.
  • Execute against established relationship / sales / revenue goals.
  • Drive partnership management process improvement.
  • Ensure team has access to and applies state-of-the-art process and system methodologies.
  • Assist management’s monitoring of Alliance Partner staff performance, development, assignment and deployment.

 

What you will bring

  • Advanced understanding of the full range of products and services provided by Vonage Business.
  • Advanced understanding of telecommunications technologies, practices and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening.
  • Ability to:
    • Tailor communication approach to specific situations and audiences.
    • Integrate trends, data and information into forecasts, plans, models and recommendations.
    • Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex sales, marketing, relationship and associated process-related situations.
    • Form relationships and communicate effectively with executive-level decision makers.

 

What is required for application

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
  • Prior experience (9+ years) in an Alliance Partner Management or related role.
