As a UX Research Associate on the Usability team, you will drive the tactical understanding of user journeys – and the future of user experiences with Reddit. You will work under the direction of the Head of User Research to execute usability studies. You will partner with our product and design teams to understand users and show rather than tell how we can improve their experiences. You will be responsible for leading and managing usability research studies across multiple teams and will help teams find specific opportunities, and convey the information they need to effectively direct products to better serve users.

In this role, you will lead and manage research sprints to identify customer needs and develop insights for product development. You are a strong and empathetic partner within the research craft community. You are an excellent communicator, comfortable in a fast-moving organization, excited to collaborate, and passionate about understanding people and their use of products.

You bring expertise in usability and concept testing on a sprint cycle delivery schedule. You’re versed across various methods, which may include task analysis, forced choice methodology, 5-second tests, first click tests, tree testing, card sorting, persona development, journey mapping, system usability scale deployment, prototype feedback and testing, and more.
