We are looking for a detail-oriented, talented professional to be a part of our growing Business Intelligence and Analytics team. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with all functional areas of the company to gather business requirements, design and build dashboards and reports, provide deep analysis on complex data from various data sources, and enable stakeholders to make more data-informed decisions. To be successful, you should have a good mix of quantitative analysis, communication, data and organizational skills.

As a Staff Business Intelligence Analyst, your primary responsibility will be working with large data sets to provide cross functional team with consumable and actionable analysis. You will leverage your proven experience manipulating complex data to produce meaningful analytics and insights to support cross functional team and Senior leadership. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure. The preferred candidate will have both a strong technical background as well as proven business experience.

Who will you work with?

In this role, you will work closely with other key members of the product and analytics executive team, as well as with business units and departments across the organization, to ensure that BI is aligned with the overall goals and objectives of LastPass. Your key partners will be the analytics and finance team.

 What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Develop BI visualizations and actionable insights presentations based on business priorities.
  • Work effectively across the organizations with all relevant functional areas and be willing to jump in and take actions on time sensitive projects.
  • Wrangle data to extract meaningful insights from various data sources and enable stakeholders to make more informed data driven decisions.
  • Combine business and technical knowledge to develop executive recommendations.
  • Coach business partners on how to utilize dashboards and focus on continuous improvement to drive adoption.
  • Document processes, implement best practices, and keep current with developments and trends in data quality analysis.
  • Be able to work with Sr leadership with big picture in mind.
  • Reconcile large datasets between the source systems (e.g., SFDC) and the aggregated datasets in Databricks using Power BI to ensure data quality and define procedures for future accuracy.

  • Expertise in data analytics within a SaaS / e-commerce business.
  • Demonstrated experience in collecting and analyzing data to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining reports, dashboards and visualizations. Preferably in MS Power BI.
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and create data solutions.
  • Demonstrated capacity to focus and deliver on goals in a dynamic, multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and at a high level of detail and accuracy, with a highly analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Team player with a passion for delivery and service of expectation
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Extensive experience in Python, SQL (preferably in Databricks) and MS Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to take a business problem from definition through analysis and on to recommendations.
  • Highly analytical and capable of sophisticated modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,500 in the lowest geographic market and up to $136,875 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
