We’re on the hunt for a dynamic, whip smart, Strategic People Business Partner for Pluralsight’s APAC Region. Pluralsight is at an unprecedented moment in our growth as a company and the Business Partner Team is at the forefront of designing People solutions that will propel us toward incredible growth in the marketplace and in the direction of our mission. You will lead the APAC Region and sit on a regional leadership team to partner closely with APAC leadership and team members on all people and organizational-related issues (including engagement, employee relations, workforce planning, onboarding, benefits, mentor, development, organizational development, etc). You will collaborate with the People & Places team in the design and implementation of a variety of people programs that give leaders and team members (employees) leverage in driving business results. Because of your leadership, the leaders that you serve will cultivate teams where their team members do the best work of their lives.

What you’ll do:
Lead with business acumen. Know the business and understand what drives business results within your functional team. Know everything about the organization’s finances and operations and how talent management affects each. Approach problem solving from a business-first perspective.
Act as a champion for our team members and as a change agent; balancing the needs of team members, your functional business unit, the People Team, and the company
Use fact-based thinking to understand and serve as a consultant on various people related touch points, referring issues to the appropriate SMEs. You see yourself as a coordinator to ensure that situations are handled consistently, fairly, and efficiently.
Be trusted advisor to the Managing Director of APAC, and to the rest of the APAC leadership team on aspects related to People and other issues
Apply ethical practices in all you do, approaching situations fairly and consistently without bias and by using data
Identify coaching needs and provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions), supported by data
Partner with Talent Acquisition to deliver key hires to the business through a strategic, well-designed and fully-baked headcount planning approach
Deliver succession planning, development, change management, leadership development, and employee relations to your functional org
Lead and resolve sophisticated employee relations issues. Conduct effective, detailed and objective investigations if and when they come up.

Experience you’ll need:
You have a consistent track record of results and influence as a strategic partner which has moved the needle across the company; delivering impact that support a high performing culture
You have proven experience across the APAC region and familiarity with Australia, India, Singapore markets and labor relations.
You have been a key member of a functional business leadership team who’s thought partnership has made significant contributions to the business strategy
You have led through numerous crucial conversations with influence and ease
You have the business acumen of Saas based business, specifically, sales and marketing organizations; giving you the credibility you need to coach leaders far more experienced than you
