We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and execution-focused Senior Marketing Automation Manager to lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and administration for our lifecycle CRM campaigns, including email and SMS. You will primarily work with channel managers, IT, BI, and engineering partners to develop approved creative content, and strategize data architecture, targeting, and solutions.
You will be responsible to build and test all content before campaigns are launched to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
You have a strong combination of both data and technology platform proficiency while being able to ingest creative campaign intent in order to know how to build successful campaigns, measure results, and solutions. You consider yourself (or are very close to) being a technical SME on Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms and have strong exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud! You also have experience leading complex targeting and personalization strategies that drive retention/acquisition, reduce churn, and continued engagement with the Happy Money brand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to play a pivotal role in supporting Happy Money’s growth and retention efforts.
– Develop overall marketing automation strategy/roadmap in partnership with marketing and product, define key priorities, and oversee the execution of multiple campaigns with a specific focus on driving acquisition, retention and re-acquisition
– Drive strong performance across a variety of automation campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, etc) including transactional, acquisition, onboarding, content promotion, and reacquisition campaigns, constantly refining communications across the consumer life cycles
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in our development, test, and production environments, and develop automated approaches to streamline operations and processes
– Develop software that complies with coding and security standards; promote consistency, maintainability, quality, agility, and reuse across the system lifecycle. Build and develop integration testing techniques and solutions for ensuring the system’s overall capability of fulfilling business requirements
– Plans, executes, and manages the strategic integration of new data and applications into existing systems and infrastructure throughout the enterprise, including cloud services as applicable
– Work with team to define KPIs for individual campaigns, establish quarterly goals, and communicate reporting needs to BI partners
– Compile BI reporting for all major insights and share trends with the marketing team and with key stakeholders
– Support email testing program development by contributing to hypotheses and execution
Proactively research and identify new opportunities to structure sustainable growth across current and future Happy Money products and improve marketing efficiencies-

What You’ll Do:

About You: (Needs To Have)

    • 3+ years of progressive experience in solutioning, discovery and business analysis, project management, and technology implementation in lifecycle CRM engagements including AB/multivariate testing with specific experience in B2C, preferably in the e-commerce or direct-to-consumer space
    • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) including Journey Builder Journey creation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connect integration management, Data Extensions, AmpScript, Custom API calls, Social Studio, Advertising Studio and Contact Builder
    • Passion for analytics and comfortability in analyzing and manipulating data, especially to draw meaningful insights that inform current and future strategy
    • Ability to balance short-term gains with long-term impact. Ability to foresee the long-term impact of those short-term gains and properly utilize that knowledge to determine the appropriate next steps
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of SQL, including join statements, HTML, and Ampscript
    • Knowledge of SJSS, REST API
    • Understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics
    • Create and review data extensions and ensure data quality
    • Ensure segmentation, customer journeys, and reporting are all functioning properly
    • Translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions leveraging the functionality and best practices of Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Proactively research and make recommendations regarding new features made available with each Salesforce Marketing Cloud Release
