Malwarebytes is looking for…  

An experienced self-starter to accelerate and transform ecommerce growth for a SaaS, self-service subscription business serving the SMB segment. As a hands-on leader reporting to the CMO, you will establish marketing programs, sales quotas and report on the health of the business to support profitable growth.
The ideal candidate will be an ecommerce expert, with proven hands-on experience with a software as a service (SaaS) company, global operating experience, deep knowledge of ecommerce marketing and demand generation, and an orientation toward using online acquisition and retention techniques to accelerate revenue growth.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Define the ecommerce full-funnel strategy, driving vision for online customer experience and ordering improvements by prioritizing projects in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Product Management teams and external business partners
  • Establish the revenue forecast and report on store traffic, funnel metrics, cart conversion and overall performance for the SMB online business toward revenue attainment.
  • Engage and effectively communicate with the executive team, marketing, product, sales, and technical teams to optimize and manage our online ordering capabilities
  • Collaborate with the marketing growth leaders and the product team to build revenue optimization plans by key products, to understand customer segments, online opportunities to reach these customers, and specific product functionality, including in-product trial-to-buy commerce
  • Partner closely with business applications, product, and web development on the technology roadmap, technical priorities, and day-to-day operations of the shopping cart and online ecosystem
  • Assess and improve existing customer experience, operational flows, and supporting operating procedures to ensure reliability and consistent access to ecommerce data for business intelligence and analytics
  • Work closely with our ecommerce platform vendor to ensure that Malwarebytes is leveraging ecommerce best practices and technologies for growth and retention
  • Maintain current perspectives with developing and emerging ecommerce operations and demand generation methods
  • Create and implement actions plans that promotes a culture of growth, continuous improvement and communication across functional groups engaged in the ecommerce ecosystem
Skills You’ll Need to Have: 
  • 7+ years of applied experience in ecommerce management, online sales, customer service management, or related fields
  • 5+ years in a subscription software business (product, marketing, sales ops) role
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing demand generation leadership role
  • Proven expertise in SaaS, recurring revenue, subscription management acquisition and retention
  • Fluency and competence in ecommerce systems, marketing analytical tools, product led growth (PLG), SEO, email marketing and partner/affiliate programs (e.g. CJ)
  • Communication and presentation skills with proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues
  • Excellent analytical abilities with web performance numbers, sales trends, user experience with the ability to suggest changes and enact improvements to drive and sustain growth
  • An effective communicator who can have nuanced, eye-level conversations with marketing and product leadership, data scientists, sales teams and technologists
  • International business experience, either in a global role or having worked internationally, ideally in an ecommerce or related sales or marketing role
  • An ability to engage in conversations that may become detailed or technical
  • Experience with ecommerce digital goods and subscription sales is preferred
