In this role, you’ll two significant responsibilities: (1) you will provide general calendar management, scheduling, and travel arrangement support for two of our executive leaders; and (2) you will manage, mentor, and coach our other Executive Assistants, with a strong emphasis on talent development, and with the goal of growing our Executive Assistants into roles on other teams at Vanta that track with their career objectives. This role has a strong emphasis on talent development and growth versus, e.g., EA craft, as its focus.
While this position is remote, you must be in the US, and in the Eastern time zone, for this role.
What you’ll do as a Sr. Executive Assistant and EA Manager at Vanta:
- Provide scheduling and travel management support for two of our executives.
- Act as direct manager for our Executive Assistants (3 currently).
- Coach and mentor our Executive Assistants in achieving their long term career goals, and particularly, in finding and growing towards opportunities on other teams at Vanta.
- Working closely with leaders at Vanta to expand and enhance our talent development program for our Executive Assistants.
How to be successful in this role:
- Meaningful (5-10 years) prior experience as an executive assistant, chief of staff, or other business operations role, including at least 5 years as a manager.
- Demonstrable success in talent development and growing direct reports into expanded or new roles.
- High trajectory, intelligence, and empathy.
