Color is searching for a Social Media Contractor to join our Marketing team. You will be responsible for Color’s social editorial calendar, keeping Color social properties dynamic, supporting executive social content curation and writing, managing and responding to community engagement, scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels, managing operations across Color’s owned social channels.

How You’ll Contribute:

      • Own the Color social media calendar: Research topics, collaborate with colleagues, write content, create visuals, and post on Color channels
      • Proactively plan the social calendar to ensure Color is part of key and timely social discussions
      • Social community management: Engage with comments, find content to repost
      • Crisis management: Monitor all social platforms and hold time daily for potential crisis management
      • Creation of social assets: Video, GIF, and photo editing
      • Providing creative direction and feedback to video editors and graphic designers
      • Social reporting: Provide regular updates on engagement across channels and posts
      • Internal collaboration and meetings: Regular meetings and communication with Color teammates, key partners like American Cancer Society, and influencers
      • Blog writing: Develop blogs and other short form content to augment and amplify Color’s voice in relevant conversations
      • Grow our channels in order to reach more people about the impactful work we do in the fight against cancer

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

      • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience is a must
      • Exceptional writing and editing skills
      • Ability to develop and effectively use a consistent tone
      • Experience owning an editorial calendar and crafting all components of the social posts within it
      • Proficiency posting directly on social channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram)
      • Ability to monitor Color social channels on a daily basis
      • Strong ability to communicate with leadership and partners, including executive stakeholders
      • Experience managing a social community, including taking a customer-first approach in all external engagement
      • Experience with video editing software
      • Enthusiastic, positive, and team oriented
      • Experience in the healthcare, health tech, health plan, or benefit administration space a plus
This is a contract role, working 20 hours per week.
Hourly pay range for this position is $30-$50/hour.
