As the Senior Studies Success Project Manager (SSPM), you’ll lead and oversee complex, high stakes projects with cross-functional teams to provide our life sciences partners with exceptional experiences and drive successful delivery across PicnicHealth’s platform and service offerings. You’ll oversee the entire research project lifecycle, successfully planning, implementing, and executing studies of varying size and complexity, on time and within scope. You’ll collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including epidemiologists, biostatisticians, patient recruitment, operations, and product to ensure high-quality study set-up, data collection, and analysis.
As the Senior SSPM you’ll:
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, timeline, and budget and ensure all aspects of the project (scope, budget, timelines) are met or exceeded.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including sponsors and internal teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, identify and develop appropriate solutions to mitigate risks ,proactively solving issues before they escalate and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure a successful study outcome;
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the internal project teams and customers, leading regular check-in and major study milestone meetings to keep all relevant stakeholders informed, address any challenges proactively, and keep the study on track;
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of project initiatives and objectives.Partner with internal and client stakeholders to provide transparent financial reporting and forecasting, and implementation of change orders as needed to meet approved budgets.
- Ensure successful and timely execution of study designs, patient recruitment, data collection, and analytics efforts;
- Work internally to inform and influence how we build scalable and tech-enabled systems to execute on studies more efficiently.
- Mentor junior project managers and provide guidance on project execution.
- Where needed, manage external vendor workstreams for the relevant research studies;
You are a great fit if you have:
- 5-8 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in digital health, healthcare tech, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the health sciences, life sciences, computer science, or a related field;
- Experience working with clinical trials, observational studies, digital trials/DCTs, real-world data (RWD)/real-world evidence (RWE), and regulatory environments is advantageous.
- PMP Certification and a proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare data management, patient privacy regulations, and digital health technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and navigating internal/external stakeholder relationships.
- Deep expertise in project management methodologies and ability to tailor approaches based on project needs and financial acumen for managing project budgets and resources.
