We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Public Relations Manager to lead our PR initiatives and drive our business’s narrative in the market. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with key media outlets, analysts, and industry stakeholders. They will possess exceptional communication skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of both traditional PR channels and digital media platforms. The Senior PR Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content, drive thought leadership positioning, and manage PR agencies across multiple regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key media outlets, bloggers, analysts, and industry associates to support the business’s product integrity and objectives.
  • Media Relations Leadership: Lead media outreach initiatives, including pitching, handling inbound media queries, and managing relationships with local, national, and international media.
  • Content Development: Develop compelling content, including press releases, pitches, and presentations. Ensure clarity and consistency of messaging across all communications channels.
  • Thought Leadership Positioning: Together with the Product Marketing team, drive the development of messaging on thought leadership platforms to position the business as a leader in the market.
  • Agency Management: Manage PR agencies across different regions to build brand awareness in core markets such as North America, the UK, and Europe. Collaborate with the marketing team on content creation and deployment.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Develop and analyze PR channels, enhance PR analytics tools, and conduct regular media audits to optimize audience reach. Plan PR activities against business KPIs and deliver comprehensive reports to senior PR management.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional duties as necessary to execute PR strategies effectively, as delegated by senior PR leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive PR experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field required (Master’s preferred). Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple PR projects under tight deadlines. Experience in traditional PR channels and social media platforms is required
  • Good understanding of the B2B SaaS space
  • Technical background or good understanding of product management processes
  • Demonstrated history of managing complex projects and executing PR plans
  • Prior experience working in a global environment
  • Prior experience managing multiple PR agencies with a proven track record
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate complex PR plans
  • Demonstrated interest in research and analysis of current PR trends.
  • Project management skills (ability to prioritize and keep multiple partners aligned)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (fluent presentation skills, ability to clearly articulate messages, communicating with and pitching to senior level).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communication
  • Passion for helping build world-class PR programs and desire to own and refine key operational processes
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate complex PR plans
