The P&T Operations team is a new function at Ceridian tasked with driving scale and growth for the business. The Operations team serves as the intersection between Finance, HR, and the rest of Product & Technology (P&T).  We are seeking a dynamic Product Operations Analyst to manage our software assets and budget.

What you’ll get to do

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive framework for tracking and managing software assets in P&T, including new requests for new software purchases and licensing.
  • Oversee the Software Catalog to provide visibility into current software usage, enhancing tool adoption and reducing redundancies.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new software requests, looking at cost-efficiency, usability, and operational & technical fit.  Facilitate necessary reviews from relevant stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team on new software acquisitions, assisting in vendor management and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage and optimize software budget.
  • Partner with leaders and other stakeholders across P&T to ensure business needs are effectively met.
  • Execute a communication strategy to promote awareness and collaboration with P&T leaders.
  • Manage inquiries and requests related to intellectual property, ensuring compliance with legal standards while fostering innovative use of technology and software assets.

Skills and experience we value

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, with a focus on software licensing, asset management, and governance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software management platforms.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost optimization strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, capable of handling large data sets and interpreting them for strategic use.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, with a focus on operational efficiency and process improvement.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology trends.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with MS Excel is a plus, particularly in using it for data analysis and reporting.  #LI-Remote
