We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Product Manager to join our team and operate at the intersection of technology and renewable energy. You’ll be responsible for tackling some of the most complex business and technical challenges that climate-tech  has to offer (e.g., programmatic infrastructure deployment, automated risk mitigation, large high-frequency financial transactions, distributed asset management, and workforce efficiency). As a PM at Wunder, you’ll also be working across the entire software development lifecycle. From identifying the next big challenge, to designing the solution, project-managing the development process, and rolling out new features to users, you’ll see it all. This role requires deep domain expertise (which you’ll learn on the job), creative problem solving, analytical savviness, and  the ability to bring stakeholders together for maximum impact.

If you’re looking to build the next iPhone app for teenagers or the next SaaS product for agencies, this role isn’t for you. About You

  • You’re an Experienced Product Manager – You have at least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a production environment at a leading software company. You’re capable of working autonomously to predictably deliver successful outcomes.
  • You’re Hands On – Nothing gets in your way. You understand that to succeed as a Product Manager you will need to be the subject matter expert when it comes to both Wunder’s business and Wunder’s software. To meet this need you sweat the small stuff, whether it’s interviewing users, managing projects, supporting rollouts, reporting bugs, or going the extra mile.
  • You’re Technically-Minded – You love taking business problems and user needs and translating them into engineering challenges. You’re comfortable working directly with software engineers and independently managing in-development projects.
  • No Ego – No job is too small, and you’re excited about rolling up your sleeves, working alongside functional teams, and sometimes personally “turning the crank” to figure out how to build the engine. You firmly believe that to build the right solution you have to be intimately familiar with the problem space.

You’re even better at developing elegant solutions, clearly articulating your logic, and defending your ideas.. We use a loose version of the Shape Up approach when it comes to scoping and roadmap definition..

SALARY & EQUITY

The base salary range for this role is $117,000 – $231,000 per year, plus equity in the form of stock options. Wunder determines the successful candidate’s compensation package throughout the interview process based on experience and expertise, and the final compensation package will be discussed with the candidate during the final stages of the interview
