Senior Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer, you will contribute in a multitude of ways, from designing and delivering new features, to architecting systems, encouraging good software development practices, pitching new product opportunities, and mentoring other engineers— there’s truly never a dull day here. What you’ll do

• Build amazing user-facing features
• Pursue tough engineering and product problems
• Work closely with product and design leadership
• Work cross-functionally to evaluate the relative importance of and need for product initiatives
• Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation and deployment
• Pitch, implement, and deploy experiments & proof-of-concepts to support company initiatives.

What we’re seeking

Must have

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience— full stack required, design skills or interest is a plus
• An affinity for learning & validating ideas quickly, knowing that this doesn’t always require code
• Experience owning projects end-to-end with varying levels of ambiguity
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, and a modern frontend framework (React/Vue/Angular).
• This position can be done remotely from any US timezone
• US work authorization required, we do not support visa transfers

Nice to have

• Prior startup experience
• Experience working closely with product management
• Experience leading sequences of experiments
• Experience with MongoDB, GraphQL, Material UI, animations, React Native
• Experience with cloud/infrastructure, devops, CI/CD
• Experience leading a team and mentoring team members
• A data oriented mindset + experience with product analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel
