We are looking for an experienced recruiting leader, with a strong interest in guiding a team, training recruiters, establishing effective sourcing efforts, alongside a willingness to do direct hands-on work as needed. You will partner very closely with managers and executives to define and optimize recruiting strategies. Sourcing combined with a data-driven approach are key to all our efforts at Wealthfront. As a recruiting leader, leveraging data and providing visibility will be a primary focus towards ensuring success.

Responsibilities

    • Hands-on leadership of a team of full-cycle recruiters for technical and non-technical roles, which includes: sourcing, screening resumes, performing interviews, closing offers, and advising hiring managers.
    • Collaborate closely and create effective partnerships with hiring managers and area leaders to deliver on organizational needs
    • Strong focus on organizing sourcing efforts across all functions; (1) Develop and implement innovative strategies through internet research, LinkedIn, GitHub, Open Source project lists, networking and more and (2) Run experiments to optimize response rates and successful hires
    • Leverage data to increase quality of hires and time-to-close: strong emphasis on collecting data at every stage of the recruiting process to inform and optimize search criteria
    • Provide guidance to recruiters on handling career and compensation conversations with candidates
    • Recruiting branding: partner with key stakeholders on projects to strengthen our talent brand

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5-10 years experience with hands-on experience as well as leadership experience primarily recruiting and sourcing for Engineering, Product and Design roles
    • Proven analytical skills and strong interest in creating, evaluating and optimizing sourcing efforts
    • Experience with tracking success and establishing metrics for recruiting
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers on hiring initiatives and achieving clearly defined goals
    • Passion for finding diverse talent and championing inclusion throughout the hiring process and within the company
    • Strong work ethic, and who thrives in an ever changing startup environment
Estimated annual salary range: $150,000 – $175,000 USD plus equity and discretionary bonus.
