We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join the Strategy Group of the Player Sciences & Strategy Team. You will play a meaningful role in shaping and implementing 2K’s long-term critical initiatives. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of synthesizing large datasets, identifying market trends, and informing key marketing, product, and commercial strategy decisions. This individual will work cross-functionally with counterparts on Marketing, Analytics, Product, and Commercial teams.
What You Will Do
- Player Analysis: Understand player preferences, motivations, and behaviors to inform marketing strategies for active titles and product decisions for titles in development.
- Long-Term Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Commercial and Product teams to develop the company’s long-term strategic plans by evaluating marketing, product, and business model strategies.
- Financial Planning: Build marketing budgets for upcoming titles by sizing the market and collaborating with Marketing and Commercial teams to align forecasts.
- Portfolio Optimization: Assess market demand and consumer preferences to guide investments in new titles.
- Performance Measurement: Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Work with marketing teams to adjust plans as needed.
- Industry and Competitive Intelligence: Identify shifts in player preferences, product offerings, competitor strategies, and the macroeconomic environment that may impact the business. Provide recommendations to anticipate and adapt to market shifts.
What Will Make You a Great Fit
- 6+ years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, advisory, business development or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of the video game market, including current trends, player demographics, and emerging technologies.
- Experience working on international/cross-cultural projects with strong knowledge of market-specific nuances.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and translate it into concrete insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse partners.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience conducting or working with consumer research in the media, entertainment, or games industries.
- Strong statistical skills, with expertise in statistical software packages (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Q, R, and/or Python.)

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $125,000 and $185,000 per Year
