As a Sr. Manager, Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the company’s new sales & customer acquisition with Skillshare’s largest and most valuable Growth channel.  Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll act as the strategic lead for our Influencer channels, responsible for initiatives that achieve Spend and Start targets against CAC and ROAS targets. As a key member of the Marketing Leadership team, you are responsible for contributing to Skillshare’s overall marketing strategy and team culture, while overseeing direct reports & contractors.
This is a high impact role at Skillshare, one that requires both strategic thinking and detailed analytic and optimization efforts that leverage your expertise in Influencer marketing to drive success for the company.

What you’ll do:

    • Oversee the channel strategy, roadmap & operations, constantly assessing and evaluating performance to find optimization opportunities that drive growth (free trial sign ups) while reducing spend (CAC)
    • Manage the in-house influencer program: overseeing deal flow on a high volume of direct partnerships, optimizing the program operations funnel, which includes sourcing new leads, vetting, negotiation management and partnerships in service of monthly budget allocation goal
    • Responsible for weekly & monthly reporting on channels performance, while overseeing data hygiene and funnel measurement
    • Own relationships with our High Value Creators (HVCs) – influencers who require a higher level of collaboration and support
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative Studio, Product, and Engineering to improve user flows and enhance product experiences that impact growth metrics
    • Collaborate closely with the Community and Content teams to identify and maximize opportunities for fostering stronger connections between our influencer partners and teacher programs
    • Manage one direct report and several contractors within channels, directing projects and day-to-day operations to achieve channel targets
    • Responsible for day-to-day relationships with 3rd party channel-specific measurement tools (e.g., Tubular)
    • Develop business cases and proposals with a clear investment thesis and payback. Lead approved projects, taking ownership of outcomes and driving continuous improvements.
    • Responsible for feedback, skills development, and career planning for FTE direct report.

    • Salary: Our target salary range for this role is $141,690-$169,400 plus a generous equity package, depending on skills and experience.
