As the dedicated Growth specialist focused on the Commercial segment at Zip, you will play a critical role in developing and executing creative, fast-moving programs will the ultimate goal of generating pipeline for our Commercial Sales team. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and GTM Ops to identify opportunities, design novel campaigns, and rapidly launch and iterate on GTM experiments.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from zero, and has a bias toward action. You’ll be expected to take vague growth goals and turn them into high-impact, measurable results — whether through process optimization, outbound innovation, segment-specific campaigns, micro-events, or unconventional channels.
You Will
- Design and execute net-new growth marketing experiments to drive pipeline for the Commercial sales team
- Partner closely with the Commercial Sales team to identify bottlenecks and work with them on targeted programs and campaigns
- Move quickly: test ideas, measure results, learn fast, and scale what works
- Collaborate across GTM teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives such as website optimization/CRO or crafting persona-specific messaging
- Build scrappy workflows and lightweight tools to help Sales scale successful programs
- Analyze program performance and deliver insights to leadership on what’s working and what’s not
- Help define Zip’s future playbook for pipeline generation, grounded in experimentation and iteration
Qualifications
- 4-year undergraduate degree from a top school (preferably in a quantitative or business-oriented field)
- 2–5 years of experience in growth or performance marketing at a fast-paced startup
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and take ownership of initiatives from concept to execution
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly without full information
- Strong analytical skills — ability to use data to evaluate outcomes and drive decisions
- Clear XFN communicator who can align stakeholders and bring others along for the ride
- Strong project management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience partnering directly with Sales or Marketing teams
- Familiarity with outbound campaigns, demand generation, or GTM programs
- Knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Experience working in B2B SaaS or high-growth environments
- SQL or data visualization tool experience is a plus
- Based in SF or willing to relocate; in-person role preferred
The compensation range for this role is $130,000 – $200,000 OTE. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
