Senior Database Administrator

You will work closely with other DBAs, DevOps and engineers to ensure database systems are running stably, efficiently and securely. The role requires a deep understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with problem-solving skills, is essential. What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of involved MySQL DBA working experience on Linux/VM, AWS and/or OCI cloud
• Have expertise in MySQL database architecture and internal
• Have the ability to script and automate (ansible chef, git) routine database tasks using Shell and SQL.
• Have expertise in database design, installation, backup/recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, patching, supporting and upgrading MySQL in both Cloud and on-premises environments.
• Have experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.
• Be proficient in ensuring data integrity and availability by overseeing database storage, access, and security.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Be a dynamic team player who learns quickly.
